Burlaep Print and Press: Reviews & Ratings
Always a great coffee selection! Fun events like latte art contests and farmers markets. Beautiful view of lookout mtn for a a sunny or a rainy day!
Great coffee shop. They have good specials every season and everything I’ve tried has been excellent. In a bit of a sketchy area but the shop itself is very nice and has a great vibe to hangout at. Their night markets are fun and the people are friendly
I've been sleeping on Burlaep. I've known about their shop since I moved here, but was remiss on visiting until months after I became a local. I venture to say this is my favorite coffee shop of all time, anywhere. And I've lived in Kansas City, MO and various cities near Denver Colorado, no stranger to wonderful coffee shops. Burlaep has your standard coffee shop offerings for espresso based beverages, the matchas, and chai's you'd expect at coffee shops, as well as loose leaf teas; they also have beer, NA options, some baked goods, and a couple of choices for burritos if you're in the mood for a meal. I've tried their burritos and they're straightforward and satisfying. Regarding seating, they have a variety of seating choices from bar seating by the large windows facing Lookout mountain, or long, low tables in the middle of the shop, to bar seating at the espresso bar, or cushiony, living room style chairs near the plant selection on the back wall. The magic of Burlaep is in the unassuming but spacious atmosphere. This spot is for the individual looking for a tranquil, inviting space to exist away from home. It's really simple to slip into a good book here, undistracted, or to crank out a research paper, or to find reprieve from the hustle and bustle of such a harried world we live in.
Seriously can't say enough good things about this place but let's give it a try shall we? We were in town for my daughter's SAPA Championships and her 17th birthday. I stopped by after Championships on my way back to where we were staying for a little pick me up. My sister wanted coffee and they were having their spring market (think vintage vendors and the like) so it caught our eye. We got in there and saw the menu... WOW. All talk of coffee went out the window. The MATCHA is where it's at. It is SO rare to find a place that makes matcha THE RIGHT WAY!!! We had the pink lotus, lavender matcha and the Everglades - a matcha COCKTAIL!!! Listen. It was so good, we came back the next day and had more before we drove back to Atlanta. They made a steamer for my 7 year old (cinnamon brown sugar), my daughter tried the pink lotus this time and my husband ordered a cinnamon chai (out of this world!!!) I HIGHLY recommend this very chill but very intentionally crafted café. You won't be disappointed!!!! I wish I'd taken pictures of our actual beverages but seriously once you take that first sip, you can't stop. Markets are held at the start of every new season so definitely get out there and check out the cool vintage vendors!
Great Coffee and Merch! Plenty of Space and always featuring different Roasters/Coffee Companies. So go often and feel free to impulse buy one of the adorable mugs like me
Lovely service and a nice bright atmosphere! Great spot to study, hangout or work. I got a kombucha last time and hung out. Beer, coffee, pastries and other options available. This time I worked for awhile and tried a Matcha Latte with Lavender syrup. It was delicious!!
SUCH AN ADORABLE AND AESTHETICALLY PLEASING COFFEE JOINT!! I had an iced chai and my boyfriend had a cold brew coffee and we both loved it. The flavors were delicious and very subtle. The coffees were excellent and I recommend this place! There is also nice seating areas and little outdoor clothing and gifts to look at and the service was great!
Came into work remotely for a day and stumbled upon the best drip coffee I’ve ever had Burlaep makes great coffee. It is an open concept coffee shop with an apparel company attached - really cool designs for some of their stuff you can purchase in house. The baristas were kind and engaging. This is one of the best coffee spots in Chattanooga!
